Upgrading

If you need help with uploading files, step 3 of the installation guide will explain what this is all about.

1. Download the latest version. Make sure you save the ZIP file to your hard drive - don't open it directly.
2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your hard drive.
3. In the folder where you extracted the ZIP file, you'll see an upload folder. You need to upload the contents of this folder to the location on your website where you installed Injader. When you are asked to overwrite files, select “Overwrite all”.
4. In your browser, go to www.yoursite.com/installer, replacing “yoursite.com” with the address of your site.
5. Click on “Run the upgrade script” towards the end of the page. This will tell you which version you'll be moving to. Click on the upgrade link to continue.
6. If you see a message stating the upgrade is still in progress, refresh the page and wait for the next screen to appear. Repeat this process until the upgrade is complete. You may have to refresh a few times if you are upgrading several versions at once. Don't refresh until the page has finished loading.
7. Once the upgrade is complete, delete the installer folder from your site.

As we allow you to upgrade more than one version at a time, you do not need to upgrade as soon as we release a new version until you are ready. However, if we release a security update, we strongly advise that you upgrade as soon as you can.
